Seneca T. Wilson also known as Kind of a One has been writing poetry
for twenty years. He released his first book Kind of a One in 2008. He
graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a native of
Pascagoula, Mississippi currently living in Syracuse, New York working for
Syracuse University as the Assistant Director for Operations for the Department of Recreation Services. Wilson is now known as the founder of the Underground Poetry Spot a venue where other poets and poetry lovers has the freedom to come express themselves and listening to artistic truth of poetry.
Kind of a One is a creative and captivating collection of poetry that
emanates uninhibited passion and sensuality. Wilson taps into a wide range of
subjects including sex, survival, race, and spirituality. In “I Rise,” he
admonishes close-mindedness and urges a reclaiming of power in his call to
action for the black brotherhood and sisterhood. He also celebrates the beauty

Seneca T. Wilson graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a native of Pascagoula, Mississippi. A member of the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association, Wilson also enjoys reading, writing, poetry, basketball, bowling, flag football, and fishing.
